VBCS PLUS USERS
How do tradespeople become part of this register?
Tradespeople/service providers apply to become a VBCS Plus preferred supplier by filing out a lengthy qualification form. VBCS Plus then undergoes a strict process involving checks on their insurance and certification to ensure they have the right qualities to service our VBCS Plus clients.
2. Why are there not very many providers in my search category?
VBCS Plus is a growing directory of service providers and as such there are two reasons why this many occur:
VBCS Plus is growing in various locations throughout Melbourne.
We only advertise qualified and certified contractors which can mean some industries have a lower number of competitors.
1. I don’t have regular access to email or the internet how do I manage my account?
VBCS Plus works with each individual service provider to ensure that you get the most out of your advertisement. If you do not have on-line access, VBCS Plus can send you a hard copy proof of your advertisement. Simply fill in the fields that require changing and post it back and we will update your advertisement for you. Call: (03) 8531 8100 and ask to speak to VBCS Plus.
2. I have been told that I have to go on the waiting list – what does this mean?
VBCS Plus' goal is to provide an easy to use directory with the highest quality service providers. As such VBCS Plus has capped the number of service providers in each category for the following reasons:
Increase value for businesses by promoting their high quality service amongst a smaller number of competitors.
Providing a smaller pool of contractors for clients will assist in their decision-making.
If you are placed in the waiting list it means your service category is full and as such you will need to wait until a place becomes available.
